Executive Summary

This white paper documents the creation, development, and commercial deployment of Attention Disorder — a world radio show concept developed by Luke Thompson (Luke Da Spook) under Music Over Matter (MOM), an independent Auckland-based music label and collective.

Over a period of four months, a full media property has been conceived, designed, documented, technically specified, and actively pitched to venue, broadcaster, equipment, and sponsorship partners. The work represents a professional body of output equivalent to a full creative agency engagement — produced independently, with the objective of establishing Attention Disorder as a sustainable, full-time commercial operation and securing Luke Thompson a primary income stream as Host, Executive Producer, and DJ.

"Broadcasting from the first timezone on earth. No ads. No algorithm. No sitting. The room is the broadcast."

The core thesis: Attention Disorder is not a podcast or a DJ stream. It is a world radio show that broadcasts live from the head of the bar — rooted in Aotearoa, reaching a global audience, and generating commercial value through sponsorship, appearance fees, broadcast partnerships, merchandise, and content distribution.

02
Background — Who Is Luke Thompson

Luke Thompson, known professionally as Luke Da Spook and Spooky, is a music industry veteran with 30 years of experience in New Zealand and internationally. He is the founder of Red Bull Studios Auckland, a recording facility that hosted some of the most significant recordings in New Zealand music history.

Luke operates at the intersection of music production, DJ culture, radio broadcasting, and digital media. His DJ library comprises 50,000 digital tracks and 4,000–5,000 vinyl records, built over three decades of professional practice.

Under Music Over Matter (MOM), Luke is simultaneously developing:

Sunset Muriwai — a debut collaborative single under the collective artist identity Shared Breath, targeting NZ On Air Round 3 funding (opens 23 July, closes 6 August 2026)
Attention Disorder — a live world radio show concept for Friday and Sunday residency and eventual national and international touring broadcast
Music Over Matter — a full-service independent label incorporating recordings, publishing, contracts, touring, merch, and social management

The _LIVECLAW cluster provides infrastructure support across OCB, NDA, COB, and LVE entities, with MOM operating as the soul layer of the cluster.

Deliverables Produced

The following documents, presentations, and digital assets were produced across this engagement. All files are version-controlled and named to the MOM/AD file naming convention.

Show Concept + Identity
Attention Disorder — show name conceived, identity locked
Editorial identity: Sunday as the hinge of the week — looking back, looking forward
First timezone positioning: 10am Sunday Auckland = the global week starts here
Three broadcast modes: music only, music + guest, full Attention Disorder
Standing format locked: no sitting, movement is the show identity
Panel format — multiple guests simultaneously, topics, debate. Sparks might fly.
Contributors model — select contributors submit mid-week content (gym, sauna, nutritionist, mental coach, environment segments)
bNet syndication strategy — Attention Disorder as the show that unites independent NZ radio
Mobile production model — HiAce as studio, journey as content
Mexican wrestling mask persona — identity hidden, voice is the brand, P1 creative brief
